Alexander Steinhoff is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy and a German specialist in general medicine. He also holds a certificate of competence in addiction medicine. He managed an innovative addiction clinic in Zurich and demonstrates a broad knowledge in the field of addictive disorders as well as harmful use of substances, but also non-substance related addictive behavior. He brings extensive experience in consultation and liaison psychiatry as well as in psychosomatics. He completed a substantial part of his psychotherapeutic training at the renowned Grawe Institute in Zurich. In addition to the general psychiatric and medication spectrum, his psychotherapeutic specialties are "Motivational Interviewing" and "Intensive Short Time Dynamic Psychotherapy".
